The story took place in Oriental Plaza in Johannesburg, shopping centre during summer.

Main characters

Mrs Nebo can be described as the main character (protagonist).She live in Houghton. She is a wife of Clive Nebo who  had been already appointed as a foreign affairs minister in the new government. She was of mediuum height with heavy loins with smooth skinned complexion.She was rich. She wear expensive clothers. Mr Sakur (antagonist) He was strict, offensive,he insult people and have no mercy. He refused to accept the cheque of  Mrs Nebo.

Plot

The story is all about a rich women Mrs Nebo who lives in Houghton she ws married to Clive Nebo who was appointedas the foreign affairs ministers in the new government.Her friend was Magret and they both like shopping.The conflict occured in the story was an external conflict (person vs person). Mrs Nebo and the shopkeeper were arguing about the silk scarf. Due to the fact the shopkeer was refusing to sell the silk scarf to Mrs Nebo by cheque, because Mrs Nebo was shot of $15 cash.Magret Mrs Nebo friend say anything to describe Mrs Nebo inorder to make the shopkeeper understand..Magret tells the shopkeeper that Mrs Nebo is the wife of Mr Clive Nebo who was appointed as the foreign affair minister, she is rich,lives in Houghton, she wear expensive clothers and she has a Mercedes Benz. Even though Magret says all these things about Mrs Nebo to the shopkeer this was of no use. Finally Mr Sader entered the shop and take the silk scarf and give it to Mrs Nebo as a gift and tell her to accept it.She also tell Mrs Nebo that they don't accept cheque because is their traditional business philosophy.

The story took place in the morning during winter at the coastal area because the mention things like beach and sea.What motivates me to say it was during winter is that jerry was swimming and it think nobody would like to swim during summer.

Main characters


Jerry went through quite a few character adjustments. He went from not being able to hold his breath for a length of time, to holding it for two to three minutes straight. He also went from the safe, busy beach with his mother, to the risky rocky bay with the native boys. The most significant however, was the obvious change of character from this boy to a young man. The writer used indirect charecterization to describe the characters, because you could read only Jerry and his mother's thoughts.

Plot

The conflicts in this story were (person vs. self), (person vs. person), and (person vs. nature). Jerry had to converse with himself, about his own capabilities. Jerry also interacted with people, when he tried to prove to the boys how tough he is. Jerry competed against nature, when he came up for breath after going through the tunnel, and had to fight against the current. The main crisis and situation of this story was when Jerry decides he wants to be able to swim through the tunnel with the other boys, but he doesn't know if he can make it. After he shows the boys he has the guts to jump off the rock, he wants to prove that he is man enough to swim through the tunnel in the rock. Although, the boys cannot actually communicate with Jerry, he has a sort of mind set that he needs to accomplish this feat in order to maintain his pride. Jerry knew  at first, that he would not be able to swim throughout the tunnel without taking a breath of air, so he did exercises that resolved his problem. Jerry convinced his mother to buy him goggles, which he needed to see where the tunnel begins. On the day before Jerry and his mother were leaving for home, Jerry decided that it was the time to show what he was made of, and swim through the tunnel. He prepared himself, and dived. At first he felt like  an "inflated balloon", he could hold his breath forever, but as the tunnel became darker and eerie, he started to panic and lose his control. Jerry kept swimming and counting the seconds, until he came to a point with a darkness up ahead and no more oxygen left in his system. He thought he was going to die. Finally, Jerry saw a light in the distance, and he swam to the surface. Although his nose was bleeding, and he was in extreme pain, Jerry has proved to himself what he was capable of.

my experience on creating a blogg account

I experience many difficulties in creating this account because i was struggling to create a gmail account.I took me about three days to create a gmail account,it gave lots of stress an headache.It was not easy for me because while i was ceating my gmail it gave me taugh time and i got stuck here and there.As i come to create my blogger it self it was any easy task of because i already  have a gmail account.Now iam glad and feeling welcome to the world of success and happiness.I have a hope that everyhing will be okay.
